Lansing Live Scan Fingerprinting Requirements
DK Security’s Live Scan fingerprinting services are available by appointment only at our DK Security Lansing office, conveniently serving Lansing and the surrounding Mid-Michigan area. All customers must be at least 18 years old and provide a current LiveScan RI-030 (10/2020) form from the requesting agency with Section 1, Boxes 1–3 completed, or a CPL Application Receipt for CPL fingerprinting services. CPL applicants must also present a valid driver’s license. A current federal or state-issued photo ID is required for all fingerprinting appointments.
For customers whose requesting agency or employer is not covering the cost, Live Scan fingerprinting services are $65. We accept cash, checks, and all major credit and debit cards. Customers paying with cash should bring the exact amount, as change cannot be provided. If you are unsure who is responsible for payment, please contact your requesting agency before scheduling your appointment.
Before booking your appointment in Lansing, review the fingerprint reason code listed in Section 1, Box 1 of your form. DK Security is unable to provide fingerprinting services for the following reason codes: FCE, DSS, FFA, HC, GRD, PE, AWA, AWF, AWP, CCL, CLE, GCB, RID, SOR, AD, CSA, CSJ, PI, PHA, PR, PRC, NCJ, LIG, LSB, RC, and VI.
