Our Security Services Process

Step 1: Initial Contact

Whether you fill out our online form or call, your request is directed to DK’s Director of Sales and Business Development. This person will be your main point of contact throughout the process and coordinates with the right DK team members at each stage.

Step 2: Discovery Conversation

Next comes a conversation to learn about your organization’s security goals, site layout, and daily operations. This meeting helps DK determine the best approach, whether that’s short-term coverage or a long-term partnership. Every detail discussed helps us recommend the right security guard services or specialized protection for your environment.

Step 3: Proposal Development

For long-term partnerships, DK prepares a detailed quote or formal proposal. This may include a free abbreviated security audit, where our team reviews your facility and offers insights on ways to strengthen your safety program.

Step 4: Review and Agreement

Once your proposal is ready, our team works closely with you during review and contract execution. Most projects move from the initial meeting to a signed agreement within 15–30 days, followed by a 30-day window for recruiting, training, and transition planning. This is a total turnaround of about 45–60 days from first contact to service launch.

Step 5: Staffing and Training

During this period, our in-house recruiting team selects officers or agents who best fit your organization’s environment. DK Security clients are always welcome to take part in interviews and selection. This partnership-driven approach keeps you at the center of every decision.

Step 6: Service Launch and Ongoing Support

For short-term coverage: Services may begin immediately or within 24 hours of your request.

For long-term partnerships: Once onboarding is complete, your assigned Operations Manager coordinates scheduling, supervision, and communication. DK stays actively involved long after the first day and maintains an active partnership to adapt as your security needs evolve.
